Had another opportunity to play my song. We were at Gospel Jam last Sunday and there I was, blessed again by someone's testimony. I'll write more about this later. In the meantime, take a look at some of our photos from the event. God Bless my readers. :)
That's me right there. Hiding behind the acoustic guitar and under my bangs. LOL. :D
Yung muka ko dito, nakakaloko lang. Hehe. / With Ms. Jeanne Vicars
I want to thank the Lord because the CJ Corona Trial is now over. Seeing God's promises to the Philippines come to pass just brings tears to my eyes. Hehe. May He continue to let His glory shine and be seen in this country's government/leadership. :D
Anyhow, this reminds me of this one thought I had in mind yesterday. I know that many Filipinos want to see CHANGE in this country. But the problem is, there aren't too many who are willing to go to great lengths and become 'exacters' (if I may use that made-up term to get my point across) of change. Before we go into the streets to raise our placards in protest, which I think isn't really necessary, why don't we start small. We can start by not turning this nation into a humongous trash can.
On regular good-weather days, I usually take a jeep to get home. The weather wasn't throwing tantrums yesterday so I decided to get on one. I sat right next to a guy who was with his friends. They were eating. One of them was eating an ice cream. She was almost at the tip of the cone when *gasps*, she suddenly threw it out the window. Just.like.that. No sign of remorse nor pain in her eyes. :p
She's just one of the MANY people here who throw their trash everywhere. And when I say everywhere, it's literally everywhere (parks, buses, sidewalks, waiting sheds, etc.). They leave garbage even in elevators would you believe?! I'm afraid that one day, we're all never going to walk in the streets without slipping on a banana peel, which is supposed to be just proverbial. SIGH!
How hard is it to just keep a small candy wrapper in your pocket or in your bag (it isn't going to be any cleaner than your kitchen sink, FYI) while the trash can is on its break?! SIGH. Kung nakakapagsalita lang ang kalsada at mga estero pag may baha na, sasabihin nila siguro, "O ano ka ngayon? Binabaha ka tuloy sa katatapon mo kahit saan!" I mean, wouldn't it be nice to add the word clean in our slogan?
These photos were taken last month at Starbucks Taytay. This is our very first Young Adults' Fellowship. Though this isn't a big group, I know that God will use each of us in the field we are being called in...THE MARKET PLACE. We're praying for more people, not only to become part of this ministry, but to get to know Jesus and be saved.

Nope. This isn't a mess. Grammar, punctuation, subject-verb agreement - I may not have the perfect skill to become a writer but I think writing is a privilege and I take it as that. What I write about might or might not matter at all but everything I post is what I think/opinion-based that could be a fact when you see things as I do. Sigh! I just want the whole world to know that it doesn't suck to be me because He lives in me! God Bless!
