I'm maintaining an account on there but it's not mine, it's our church's. I'm not even it's sole admin 'cause someone else logs in there and does some of the updating and tweaking. So here comes the regal question: Why?

Okay, I'm not trying to throw an anti-social fit here nor am I trying to be an enemy of that networking site. I don't have anything against it. In fact, I kinda like the idea of being able to share what we do for Jesus on there. I just don't feel like 'owning' a Facebook account and I don't wanna create one just because I need to be in the loop. I do want to see my old friends there but I don't know, nothing, as of the moment, will ever change my mind. Twitter is also cool but my thoughts aren't limited to 140 characters. If I wanna say something really cool or if I wanna share my wonderful ruminations (hehe) then I'd just type them all in here. 

To my dear friends: I'm sorry. :(

I'd like to thank the people who keep viewing this blog/reading my posts. I've received more than 900 pageviews from the Philippines, 95 from the US, 81 from Russia and 24 from Germany, 3 and 1 from the rest of the countries around the world (even 1 from Latvia). WOW! The stats counter didn't track most of my own views 'cause I disabled that function. And I just started using this site two months ago. Thank you Lord! Whether you're a lurker/passerby/follower or just simply a blogwalker, I still want to thank you. Your views make blogging worthwhile. I hope you're all getting something from my posts...something good I pray.

I'm surprised to know that over-empathy and nasty commenting people are in the bottom two. Hehe. But I gotta be honest, there are things in life that truly annoy me. One is...people making a fuzz out of things that are supposed to be insignificant issues in life. Two, when couples pretend not to be couples at all (ang daming ekek) I mean come on! Who cares?! Three, sarcastic people PERIOD. And lastly, those who smile at you and say nice things about you in your hearing but does the opposite when you're not around (it's like being pushed into a speeding car's path without you knowing it). 

I really want to use this ol' lame excuse - I'm only human or tao lang may damdamin din. But I know that God wouldn't be able to have His grace work on me if I keep pressing the "only human" button. I'm a work in progress and so is everyone who wants to be able to run and finish the race. Part of the contest is being able to persevere not only in trials or hardships but also in character-testing and molding. I am, yet again, speaking from experience and I know I'm not alone in this battle.

If you're a Christian and you think there are still demons in your life that you need to let go of, just go ahead and surrender them to God. Nobody said that Christian life is gonna be easy and that we'll all automatically become perfect. It's a process. A process that you and I should go through so that at the end, we'll be acknowledged as one who is like Enoch. One who walked with God. Let's all make our lives worthy of the calling we have received. This is more like a note to self as the list of things that annoy me grow longer by the day. Please don't stone me to death. Hehe. *points a gun at her head* Pssh.

It's just amazing to see people doing what they are really good at. They 're good at singing (Jessica Sanchez & Charice), dancing (Shaun Evaristo), drumming (Cobus Potgieter and girlfriend Lindsey Ray Ward, and of course, our very own Franklin Benitez and Otep Concepcion), computer graphics (Dan Stevers), etc. Sigh! Where was I when God was showering down all these talents? Haha! I was probably half alseep or was busy experimenting in my underground laboratory or lavatory if you will, LOL. 

I was talking to a friend yesterday about learning how to play musical instruments. Sabi ko sa kanya, di bale ng hindi ako maging sobrang galing sa lahat ng yan basta marunong (or kayang makapagturo). I also wanna be really good at something but if I won't be able to use what I have for His glory then everything would mean nothing (sounds like a song, eh?). I get my own personal high from watching people do amazing things with their God-given skills but I hope that what they have will bless others as well, that even the hopeless will find meaning in their talents. 

I told our praise and worship team that if I have any dream, it's to be able to minister to people through my worshiping, my playing of the guitar, through my singing, through my amateur drumming even. And it's not just gonna be about what I do, but WHAT'S IN ME. ;) Wouldn't it be amazing to see people coming in to faith, with you doing what you like doing for God, and Him doing His part without you moving a hand? Makes sense? There are people out there who just wants to become famous, who wants to become the masters of their craft which I don't think is wrong. My point is...what is it going to cost you? what does it benefit you? I don't know if I was able to get my poll across here but what the heck, this just had me thinking so if you wanna think with me, go ahead. 

My thought train is chugging behind a trolley cart, it won't go any faster today 'cause I'm tired AS USUAL. Ranting. Over. Out. Peace. 

     

I know, I know, I haven't been posting anything lately. I've been B-U-S-Y. I've been busy lazying. Haha. But seriously, I've been busy at work. I've taken on another task which I thought was going to be a breeze. I'm now a Content Editor/Developer slash dakilang kamote. Who can come up with interesting questions about melting icebergs? What was I thinking??! Arrgh. I was told this morning that I can bring my work home. My joy was just momentary. I realized that my home is my home, it isn't a workplace so as much as I'd like to be set free from the painstaking process, I'd rather just leave my mess some place else...like in Alaska. Hehe. 

I did nothing special over the long weekend in case you're wondering.

My wick doesn't need any trimming. Stress is really getting the best of me of late. It's either that or it's my humble patience, growing shorter every day. I easily get upset over things I know I shouldn't be going nuts about. These are the times when I wanna be left alone. When I'm angry, disappointed, hurt or in any kind of pain, I wanna be left to myself. I just want to keep quiet. Though I'm a pastor, I still have flaws, black holes, thoughts under floorboards and sinking ships. Hugs are for Pandas in China. Prayers are for people who go through doldrums...so that is just what I need. It's not bad to be this honest, is it? This is my blogsite anyway. Hehe.   

I bought a new set of guitar strings last week. I've been trying to put melody into a song I've composed. Well, it isn't exactly a song yet but I'm working on it. It's about Simon Peter and his struggles. If there is any person in the Bible who should be the perfect example of the saying "some people gotta learn the hard way", it would have to be him. Denying Jesus thrice and at a time when He needed him to be strong was pretty much like a hard slap across the face. But at the end, he had to literally take up the same cross...he victoriously did it by His grace. What a journey it must've been for him.

I'm sorry but I gotta say this. There's nothing so 'magnum' about 'em. The Belgian's just fine but the price isn't reasonable for something, I have to say it again, not so 'magnum'. Hehe. I love eating ice cream at cheap na kung cheap pero I'd rather go for Pinipig Crunch. Yeah! Yan ang da best para saken. May pinipig ba yung Magnum na yan? WALA! Hahaha.

I'm seriously laughing my wits off. Haha! I was going through the e-mails I've sent to people over the past two years. One of the mails I've sent was to a certain company in Makati that posted an opening for writers. I didn't know what kind of writer they were looking for though. They asked me to write a short narration/story and put options under it to have the reader choose which of the sample sentences is the main idea. This was part of the application process.
